Online applications are invited from candidates who are Permanent Residents of Assam and candidates applying under the Central Government Employees quota for registration for admission into 3-year Diploma in Engineering and Technology Courses in State Government Polytechnics of Assam (except the Modern Office Management course of PCPS GP) for the session 2024-25.
Advertisement for the Modern Office Management course will be published later on.
How to apply: Candidates are to apply online by visiting www.dte.assam.gov.in, clicking on "Polytechnic Admission 2024-25," and opening the link https://dte-assamadm.samarth.ac.in - "Online Application portal for admission into the State Government Polytechnics of Assam for the session 2024-25." The online registration portal will be opened at 4:00 p.m. on 1st June 2024 to 15th June 2024. No other mode of application will be accepted.
Eligibility Criteria and Age Limit (for all Diploma in Engineering & Technology Courses):
Candidates must pass the H.S.L.C. or its equivalent examination in a single sitting with Mathematics and Science as compulsory subjects. Candidates must also have passed individually in both Theory and Practical examinations in Mathematics and Science.

Application Fee: For Counselling & Admission Process for admission into the State Government Polytechnics of Assam: An application fee (non-refundable) of Rs. 300/- (plus bank charges as applicable) is to be paid using the payment link. The details of payment will be given in the online portal. Candidates are required to carefully follow the steps while applying online.

Please Note:
1. Candidates will not be permitted to take admission without Permanent Resident Certificate [PRC] /Caste Certificate /for OBC (Non Creamy Layer Certificate )/valid EWS certificate.
